Tire Pressure

When we drive, we take a number of precautions to protect the ones we love, but of all the precautions that we take, how often do we think of our tire pressure?

By following a few simple steps, you will increase your own safety and the safety of your loved ones.

You’ll also improve fuel economy and increase the life of your tire, both of which will save energy and reduce your vehicle’s impact on climate change and air quality.

Nitrogen Use

Some retailers are advocating inflating tires with Nitrogen. This may provide certain benefits compared to air inflated tires. However, whether your tires are inflated with air or Nitrogen, measuring tire pressure at least once a month is critical. Drivers will benefit by increased safety, handling and braking performance, longer tire service life, better fuel economy and reduced greenhouse gas emissions that contribute to climate change and affect air quality.
