COPD can introduce many challenges to your life. No matter how strong you are, having support in the form of loved ones and peers is an important part of living well, especially during these challenging times.
The Lung Association of Nova Scotia is facilitating an online support group for people living with COPD. This group will be a private and secure forum for people to connect, ask questions, receive expert advice - all the while connecting with others who are living with COPD, just like you. They can teach you tips to help you manage your condition. They’ll also give you a feeling of community. Just being around other people who have lived with the same condition can reassure you that you're not in this alone!
If you are interested in joining the COPD Virtual Support Group, the Nova Scotia Lung Association is now accepting registrations.
