In collaboration with Health Canada, the Canadian Network for Human Health and the Environment (CNHHE) is hosting a teleconference/webinar on Thursday, October 26, 1:00pm (EDT) to present an overview of national human biomonitoring programs carried out under the Chemicals Management Plan (CMP). The focus will be on the biomonitoring component of the Canadian Health Measures Survey (CHMS), the Maternal-Infant Research on Environmental Chemicals (MIREC), and the Northern Contaminants Program (NCP) and how the data are used under the Chemicals Management Plan (CMP).
We invite you to take advantage of this opportunity to learn about these programs and discuss the achievements, how the findings are used, and most importantly for the CHMS, how you can access and use the data in your own work.
Once again, this session is intended for a wide range of health and environment stakeholders, including, but not limited to NGOs, indigenous groups, researchers, health workers, and policy-makers. Please share this invitation with your colleagues and other interested individuals.
The session will include the opportunity to discuss this subject with CHMS, MIREC, NCP and CMP staff.
Please reply as soon as possible if you are interested in participating, along with your language preference for materials (English/French).
