Andre Roussell

And then there is Andre Roussell, who had a lung transplant due to Idiopathic Pulmonary Fibrosis, a terminal lung disease with no known cause.

“Without a lung transplant I might have had 5-7 years left. Prior to my transplant in 2016, I had a lot of help from the New Brunswick Lung Association’s Lung Transplant Support Group.

“The Lung Association helped me navigate the complex journey for a transplant, all the paperwork needing filled out for various reasons, directing me to the right government departments and calling on my behalf to expedite the process. I encourage anyone to support the New Brunswick Lung Association. Remember… When you can’t BREATHE, nothing else matters!”

Most people know about Black Friday and Cyber Monday... #GivingTuesday is coming to Canada on November 30th 2021!

Giving Tuesday is a new Canadian movement for giving and volunteering, taking place each year after Cyber Monday. The “Opening day of the giving season,” it is a day where charities, companies and individuals join together to share commitments, rally for favourite causes and think about others.

This Giving Tuesday, and for all of November, which is Lung Month, we want to remind you to Love Your Lungs!

Please consider Donating to the New Brunswick Lung Association.
