Andre Roussell was diagnosed with Idiopathic Pulmonary Fibrosis, a terminal lung disease with no known cause, as a result of his IPF symptoms Andre needed a lung transplant.
"Without a lung transplant I might have had 5-7 years left. Prior to my transplant in 2016, I had a lot of help from the New Brunswick Lung Association's Lung Transplant Support Group. The Lung Association helped me navigate the complex journey for a transplant, all the paperwork needing filled out for various reasons, directing me to the right government departments and calling on my behalf to expedite the process.
