Goals

The Healthy School Program helps to ensure that the school environment is a healthy, comfortable, and productive place for learning. It helps to increase energy efficiency of the school’s heating, cooling, and ventilation systems, and it reduces the possibility of serious indoor air quality problems at little or no cost using straightforward activities and in-house staff. Nearly all of the activities can be successfully completed without any specialized training or tools. The effective delivery of the program has the ultimate goal of arming school partners to identify and resolve air quality problems, and to maintain their school environment.
